The INNOCENTI winery is northeast of Montalcino (SI), near Torrenieri.
The vineyard stretches across gently rolling hills at 330 meters above sea level. This is where owner Livio Innocenti personally supervises all aspects of the business, also with the help of his sons Massimo and Gianni.
Thanks to decades of experience, the INNOCENTI family is able to offer exceptional products of the highest quality. The wine cellar, which has a modern grape fermentation system, is divided into two distinct areas: one for production and the other for aging. The wine is aged either in oak barrels or in bottles in a room with constantly controlled temperature and humidity levels.
Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino wines are left to age for a period in oak barrels, while the IGT Toscano “Vignalsole” wine made of Sangiovese, Cabernet-Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes first undergoes aging in 225 litre oak barriques and then it is bottled and left to age for a period before being sold.
